W.J. Lee, rider of Litmus Test (GB), trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right under pressure.
G.M. Ryan, rider of Stellar Path, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount went left coming out of the stalls.
203B Cavalor Equine Nutrit. Irish EBF (F) MdnThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident about one and a half furlongs from the finish involving Cape Primrose, ridden by W.M. Lordan, and Storm Petrel, ridden by G.P. Halpin where it appeared Storm Petrel manoeuvred left causing Cape Primrose to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.M. Lordan said he had to switch when Storm Petrel crossed his path. G.P. Halpin said he was angling out for a run when his filly slowed up a fraction as she was still a bit green. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found G.P. Halpin was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his clean record, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined White Sand Beach (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
203C 1xBet.ie Supporting Irish EBF (F) M'dnThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at around the 50 yard marker involving Admired Beauty, ridden by D.P. McDonogh and Shi Yang, ridden by R.G. Ryan, where it appeared Shi Yang drifted left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
203D Glenroyal Hotel And Shoda Minstrel StksB.M. Coen, rider of Zodiac Bear, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. This IHRB Veterinary Officer confirmed the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.
203E 1xBet.ie Proud Supporters Curragh CupThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately one and a half furlongs out involving Al Riffa (FR), ridden by D. Browne McMonagle, Happy Pharoah, ridden by P.A. Harnett, Illinois, ridden by R.L. Moore, Tennessee Stud, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, and Floresta, ridden by B.M. Coen where it appeared Illinois and Tennessee Stud had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. Browne McMonagle said he was carried left by Happy Pharoah. P.A. Harnett said his mount went left before being corrected. R.L. Moore said it got tight from both sides. J.M. Sheridan said he ran out of room at the furlong pole. B.M. Coen said his filly got unbalanced and drifted right as the whip was being applied. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found B.M. Coen was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record (second offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays.
J.M. Sheridan, rider of Tennessee Stud, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to check a furlong out.
B.M. Coen, rider of Floresta, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around in the last furlong and a half.
203F Racing World 50th Ann. Irish EBF (F) HcpW.J. Lee, rider of Orchidaceae, trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and went wrong before pulling up between the two and three furlong markers.
203G James Nolan Bar Kildare Nursery H'capThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident close to the line involving I Ready, ridden by C.T. Keane, and Seven Nation Army (GER), ridden by D. Browne McMonagle, where it appeared Seven Nation Army bumps I Ready. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
P.A. Harnett, rider of Tradewinds, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left under pressure.
D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Seven Nation Army (GER), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in front.
